Which consulting service is right for you?
Purchasing a property?
-
1. Site Walk with Map - We walk the property to spot any wetlands, streams, or other sensitive areas. You’ll get a basic sketch showing where these features and their buffer zones might be, so you know if the site is worth moving forward with.
-
2. Feasibility Reconnaissance - We take a closer look at the property and create a professional site map showing buildable areas and likely constraints. You’ll get a summary letter and an AutoCAD-based map to help with early planning.
-
3. Feasibility Delineation - Our most detailed option. We map all wetlands, streams, and other critical areas on your property and calculate exact buffer widths. All fieldwork needed for future permitting is completed during this visit—no additional site visits are required if you move forward with a permit application. You’ll get a detailed report ready to support your project planning or permit submittal.
Applying for a permit?
-
Wetland Delineation - We identify and map the exact boundaries of wetlands, streams, and shorelines on your property. This process is required by local, state, and federal agencies to determine where you can build—and what areas are protected.
-
Critical Areas Report - A Critical Areas Report (CAR) is a document required by most jurisdictions when wetlands or other protected areas are on or near your site. We prepare this report to show whether critical areas are present and how your project will—or will not—affect them.
Code Enforcement?
-
Resolution - We handle the technical work and permitting process required to resolve wetland or stream violations on your property. This means faster compliance, fewer delays, and a clear path to restoring your project or avoiding fines.
What Our Clients Are Saying
Working with Eastside Environmental Pros has been an absolute lifesaver during the wetlands study and permitting process for my property in Blaine, WA. The permitting requirements with Whatcom County can be incredibly frustrating, and the entire process ended up taking multiple years—but Eastside Environmental Pros stuck with me every step of the way and continued to be a steady, reliable source of support. They not only completed a thorough review and write-up of my environmental studies, but they also took the time to communicate clearly, answer every question, and tailor the report to meet the needs of both the county and myself. Their attention to detail and willingness to explain each step truly set them apart. On multiple occasions, Ashley Moyer and Kellen guided me through what to expect and helped clarify the often-scary process of dealing with wetlands on my property. One standout moment was when Kellen led a meeting with Whatcom County, cutting through the red tape and helping push through a permitting stalemate that had been holding everything up. I couldn’t have asked for a better team to work with. They were timely, realistic, supportive, and consistently advocated on my behalf. I highly recommend Eastside Environmental Pros to anyone needing environmental studies or help navigating permitting—they are exceptional.
I've worked with Kellen personally on many projects in my roll as a septic designer with shared clients. His team is very good to work with and very detail oriented. Excellent communication which is a rare trait and much appreciated! If you are in need of their services I highly recommend contacting them and discussing your project!
We needed support for a permit, and the team at Eastside Environmental Pros was truly on our side. They helped us think through the challenge, prepared a thorough report, provided a sign-off letter, and made the permitting process far less stressful.
This company would change their numbers and harass you with unwanted calls.
Eastside Environmental Pros did a critical areas report for us on our undeveloped forest land. The process was exceptionally smooth, professional in all dealings, and the final report was of an extremely high quality. We used this report to facilitate both the creation of a forestry management plan as well as the county permitting process. I highly recommend them for ecological work here in western WA.
