Working with Eastside Environmental Pros has been an absolute lifesaver during the wetlands study and permitting process for my property in Blaine, WA. The permitting requirements with Whatcom County can be incredibly frustrating, and the entire process ended up taking multiple years—but Eastside Environmental Pros stuck with me every step of the way and continued to be a steady, reliable source of support. They not only completed a thorough review and write-up of my environmental studies, but they also took the time to communicate clearly, answer every question, and tailor the report to meet the needs of both the county and myself. Eastside Environmental Pros did a critical areas report for us on our undeveloped forest land. The process was exceptionally smooth, professional in all dealings, and the final report was of an extremely high quality. We used this report to facilitate both the creation of a forestry management plan as well as the county permitting process. I highly recommend them for ecological work here in western WA.

Kellen Maloney arrived at my home as scheduled, was very easy to work with and professional. I walked the property with him and he thoroughly eplained everything he was doing. He submitted his report to me in about one week as he promised. the report will be used to help me with the King County Permitting process.

I had a very good experience with them. I engaged them to reevaluate wetland buffers for my parcel as previous evaluation came in at 225ft buffer. Kellen from Eastside did a new study and came in at 110ft buffer which opened up a lot of buildable space on my land. Their study also got credibility with king county when they approved the new buffer. I am glad that I engaged them and truly recommend their expertise in doing wetland studies.

Very honest and follows up on services performed. As a homeowner it can hard trying to decide which company to conduct business with in this type of field. As some won't return calls or perform subpar services. I didn't get that from Eastside, instead I received nothing but outstanding service from Eastside. And also no inflated prices after the services were performed. At this present day in time it seems challenging to find honest services and I feel that Eastside delivers highly in that area. Top notch experience from start to finish with Kellen and his team over at Eastside Environmental. I recently purchased a piece of land with the intent of building an Airbnb Container home; the land had a small portion of wetlands on site and after searching around for firms to perform a critical area study. After searching around online I found EE and saw that they had incredible reviews and decided to proceed. Kellen not only got me the final report within 3 weeks of initial contact but kept me in the loop throughout the whole process. I cannot wait to work with Kellen again on the next site! Kellen and the team at Eastside Environmental Pros are far above the rest. In the overwhelming process of purchasing land there are many questions, especially in this area. The property we are purchasing particularly had some big question marks for us regarding wetlands and streams and we knew before making a final decision we would need professional help. We also knew that beyond the purchase we would still require professional help to properly prepare the land for building and landscaping. We called several places where we simply got the voicemail of “some guy” or other places were simply far too busy to give us the time of day. We called Kellen who answered right away and assured us that his team understood the time sensitive nature/ process of making an offer on land and the feasibility phase of the purchase. Eastside Environmental Pros are exactly as the name suggests: professionals. Amazing work (and I mean amazing), up front about everything (costs, timelines, etc), and an absolute joy to work with. This is my first time needing such a service, but the quality of the work isn't lost on me. Plus, all of the contractors and other people I've needed to pass the work onto have made comments like "this is great, who did you get to do this? I'm using them next time I need an environmental study I'm using them" Also, not only is the work amazing, but customer service is clearly a priority. I can't recommend working with them more. I am trying to think of the right words, or where to even start in this review, as my partner and I were absolutely blown away by how amazing Eastside Environmental Pros were in completing our required Wetland Study for our new home build. Previously, my partner and I purchased a lot in Seattle to build a single family home on, and after submitting for permits, we received an alert from KC that there was a stream near our home and that a Critical Areas Report needed to be completed in order to move forward with our permits. After searching all over in Seattle for an available Wetland surveyor, we contacted over 11 different ones, only 5 returned my calls, and the 4 out of those 5 said they wouldn't have our survey completed until 4 - 6 weeks, which we could not wait any longer. But, thank goodness Kellen from Eastside Environmental connected with me and presented a great offer, and said he would have it done within 10 working days, which was way better than everyone else I spoke too. After agreeing to go with Kellen, we were absolutely blown away as he actually completed our Wetland Study earlier than expected, and kept us updated every step of the way. I usually don't write a lot of reviews, but really felt the need to showcase our amazing experience with Kellen from Eastside Environmental Pros, Inc. As he was truly a pleasure to work with, and provided one of the best customer experiences we have had throughout our construction process.
